This Privacy Policy explains how kavix Team (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information in connection with the Kavix mobile application and related services (the “Service”).

2) Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to information processed when you:
- create or manage an account;
- upload, post, or share workout videos or other content;
- browse, like, comment, or interact with content;
- use in-app features, including optional location features;
- contact support.
3) Information we collect
We collect information in three main ways: (A) you provide it, (B) we collect it automatically, and (C) we receive it from limited sources (if applicable).
3.1) Information you provide
- Account information: name (optional), username, email address.
- Support and communications: content you send to customer support (including attachments, if any).
- User content: videos, photos, captions, comments, and other content you choose to upload or share.
3.2) Information collected automatically
- Device and technical data: device model, OS version, app version, language, time zone, identifiers (such as advertising identifiers where enabled by your device settings), network information, and approximate IP-based location.
- Usage data: in-app interactions, feature usage, pages/screens viewed, timestamps, and performance metrics.
- Crash and diagnostic logs: crash reports, error logs, and related diagnostics.
- Location data (only if you allow it): precise or approximate location as permitted by your device settings and your consent.
3.3) Cookies, similar technologies, and web beacons

Some features may rely on embedded web content. Cookies and similar technologies may apply to those portions.
4) How we use your information
- Provide and maintain the Service (account creation, login, content posting, community features).

- Improve the Service (debugging, analytics, product development, performance optimization).
- Safety and security (fraud prevention, abuse detection, enforcement of rules).
- Customer support (responding to requests, troubleshooting).
- Legal compliance (lawful requests, enforcing terms, resolving disputes).
We do not sell your personal information.
5) AI-assisted or server-side processing (if you choose to use it)
Certain features may involve processing content you upload (such as photos, images, text, or video frames) on our own servers to generate or enhance outputs. If you choose to use such features:
- Your uploaded content is processed on servers controlled by kavix Team.
- We do not share that uploaded content with third parties for processing.
- We do not use that uploaded content to train advertising systems or for marketing.
- We delete the uploaded content from our processing environment promptly after processing is complete (and in any event, no longer than necessary to deliver the result).
- You control whether to upload content and whether to generate outputs.
6) Photos / Face data
- Kavix does not perform facial recognition and does not collect biometric identifiers for identity verification.
- If an optional feature generates an output using a photo/image you provide, the processing is one-time and the input is deleted promptly after generation.
- By default, generated outputs are stored locally on your device unless you choose to upload or share them.
- We do not use your photos/images for training or marketing.
7) How we disclose / share information
We may disclose information only as follows, and with a “minimum necessary” approach:
7.1) With your consent or at your direction
For example, when you choose to post content publicly or share it with others.
7.2) Service providers (processors)
We may use trusted vendors to help operate the Service (for example, hosting, analytics, crash reporting, customer support tooling). These vendors are authorized to process information only to perform services for us and must protect it.
7.3) Legal, safety, and rights protection
We may disclose information if we believe in good faith that it is necessary to comply with law, protect safety/rights, or address fraud, security, or technical issues.
7.4) Business transfers
If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to appropriate safeguards.
8) International transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers (such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or equivalent mechanisms).
9) Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information, including encryption, access controls, periodic reviews/audits, and backups. No system is 100% secure.
10) Data retention
- Account data: retained while your account is active.
- Deletion after account closure: delete or anonymize personal information within 30 days (subject to legal obligations and legitimate security needs).
- Usage analytics: retained for up to 12 months.
- Support communications: retained for up to 6 months.
11) Your rights and choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights such as access, correction, deletion, restriction/objection, and withdrawal of consent (where applicable).

12) Children / Age requirement (17+)
The Service is intended for users aged 17 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a minor has provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
13) Public content and visibility
If you post content publicly (such as videos, captions, comments), it may be visible to others and may be shared by them. Please consider carefully what you choose to make public.
14) Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the Effective Date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice within the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Privacy Policy.
15) Disputes
Disputes related to privacy will be handled under the dispute resolution provisions described in our user agreement (including binding arbitration), and governed by the law of our principal place of business, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
